The Next Version of Windows is Finally Here!
Windows 11 is finally here! After 6 years of Microsoft claiming Windows 10 would be the final iteration of Windows, the new operating system was announced. Slated for a Holiday 2021 release date, Windows 11 is right around the corner with some new and exciting features! Windows is getting a major facelift with rounded corners on tabs, a centered task bar, and many other cosmetic changes. Many quality-of-life features will be coming to windows in this update, arguably the most important of these is native support for android apps! There’s also significant under the hood performance increases. Most benchmarks are showing solid performance boosts over Windows 10. When it comes to layout, Windows 11 is very similar to Windows 10. So, don’t expect a huge learning curve with the new OS. All in all, windows 11 looks very promising. However, there’s a lot of potential for bugs and other issues. It’s a good idea to be cautiously optimistic about the OS and wait for reviews of the finished product to come out before taking the plunge on Windows 11.
